This is one of those hidden gems not many people know about… but we’re here to spill the secret. 👀 At Sebastian, they serve insanely good Schiacciata sandwiches—made with pizza dough. Yep, you read that right.

Think crispy, airy, and packed with flavor—basically, if you love pizza, this is your sandwich. Not on the menu, but definitely worth asking for. A true guilty pleasure you didn’t know you needed.

By now, Zero Zero has fully settled in Amsterdam - with a trattoria in the city Center, De Pijp and Zuidas. This Italian sandwich shop feels like a little slice of Italy right in the heart of Amsterdam, perfectly positioned between the art galleries and the Rijksmuseum. Whether you're grabbing a bite on the go or lingering over a coffee, it’s the kind of place that keeps you coming back.

The secret? Pizza chef Marco and his incredible dough game. His crispy-yet-fluffy focaccia, with just the right amount of olive oil and salt, is honestly reason enough to stop by. And the sandwiches? Pure magic. Think high-quality ingredients straight from Italy, layered between that perfect focaccia. The permanent line outside says it all, we all love Zero Zero.

Dito Deli is in the hood! De Pijp has become even tastier with the addition of this yummy deli spot. Their sandwiches, creatively named after AC Milan players, make up their “San Siro” menu - because boys will be boys!

The brains behind Dito Deli? Two friends with a shared love for Italy, soccer, and amazing food. From baking their own bread to whipping up every single sauce, they make everything from scratch. Professional kitchen experience? Nope! These self-taught chefs have turned passion into perfection.

And trust us, it shows. Their spreads burst with flavor, and you can taste the quality in every bite. Also a great shop to score some authentic Italian wine, olive oils etc. Keep winning, guys - we’re rooting for you!

East | Fireplace | Old Farm | Good portions

This charming old city farm in Oost is just too romantic to skip for Valentine’s Day. We had a wonderful dinner in their warm, intimate restaurant, and looking around, everyone seemed to be enjoying the lovely atmosphere just as much as we did.

If you’re dining with your special someone or a group of friends, the large table in the middle - seating about 12 people - creates the perfect setting for shared moments and heartfelt conversations.

Choosing our dishes was no easy task because everything sounded so special. The menu truly has something for every taste, making it a great spot whether you’re on a date or celebrating love in all its forms. And the portions? Generous and perfect for sharing - because what’s more romantic than stealing a bite from each other’s plate?

Once you’re in, you won’t want to leave. Cozy up by the fireplace, savor the last sip of your wine, and let the evening stretch on just a little longer.

Cenc, the chic little sister of our other favorite, Bar Parry (and Balthazar’s Kitchen too - still on our list!). TBH, the Vijzelstraat was in desperate need of a romantic yet lively spot like Cenc. We often found ourselves a bit lost in this part of the city - not anymore. No need to endlessly search for the perfect date-night spot - just walk in, no reservations needed!

Their cozy terrace starts filling up from 16:00, catching the last two hours of golden-hour glow - perfect for a sunset aperitif. And while the bar snacks could keep you going all evening, we say: save room for dinner inside. The French bistro-style menu is worth it, and the interior? White table linnen! Charming, chic, and effortlessly Parisian - just the right vibe for a flirty dinner or a cozy date with your bestie.

Feeling like lingering a little longer? Slide over to the bar, sip on something sparkling, and steal a glance in one of the many mirrors - after all, romance is all about the right angles.
